This ministry grew from a desire to examine the world around us through the light of Scripture: to talk plainly about God, salvation, prophecy, the Church, and the eternal questions that eventually confront every one of us, including our stand, our position, when considering end times prophecy.

We live in a world overflowing with information, opinions, competing religions, changing and dehumanizing values, and violently escalating world events and their impact on you and me and our families. It can be difficult to know what is true—or even where to look for truth.

For me, I believe the answer to every need of the human heart, and the quest for truth in the face of those worrisome current events, is found in the finished work and Person of Jesus Christ, as revealed in God's Word, the Bible.

A Current Event is not affiliated with a particular church or denomination. Nor is its purpose to win theological arguments. Its purpose is to encourage people to open the Scriptures, consider carefully what they say—in context—and ultimately to confront the most important question of all:

What will you do with Jesus Christ?

Because ultimately, every one of us is part of A Current Event.
